M.F. Ho worked for the construction industry in the field of Quantity Surveying before switching to academia. Dr Ho is a Chartered quantity surveyor and building engineer by profession. She is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Building and the Australian Institute of Building. She is also a member of the Australia Institute of Quantity Surveyor. At the University of New South Wales, Australia, she completed her Ph.D. Her current research interests are in professional ethics and construction management.
