Kenny specialises in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Industry Foundation Classes (IFCs) and eXtensible Markup Language (XML). He is keen on transforming the traditional 2D CAD practice to BIM. His current PhD study focuses on the integration of BIM and construction document models. As a core member in the local BIM/CAD community, he is involved in several BIM case studies and has delivered a number of seminars on the research and application of BIM.
